22.08.2002 - xt32amp v0.75 available for download

And another update to xt32amp
Yep, another update. A few DMFs that crashed before now should replay correctly. Also some bad bugs in the portamento routines have been fixed.

12.04.2002 - xt32amp v0.73 available for download

This version of xt32amp, the xtracker32 winamp player plugin, adds support for mp3 samples inside the dmf modules, a feature recently added to xtracker32. In a few days I will add a few example songs that use mp3 compressed samples.

11.04.2002 - Yes, delayed again ;)

Well, a few weeks ago we in vacuum decided to do an invitation demo for the underground conference party for this years mekka. This ate up all my time, so it was impossible to also release xtracker32 there. Instead a public beta will be released here at xtracker32.org within the next 2-3 weeks. Stay tuned.

16.02.2002 - xt32amp v0.70 available for download

Huge version number jump as xt32amp version now follows xtracker32 version numbering. This xt32amp uses the lastest xtracker32 replaying engine and fixes tons of bugs. Also all new features of recent xtracker32 builds are now implemented (stereo-samples, jump-points etc).

12.02.2002 - File format specs updated

The file format specifications have been updated to reflect recent additions to xtracker32 and also to give some hints about older dmf file versions as used by early dos-xtracker beta versions.

18.01.2002 - Current state of the project

After receiving a few mails asking if the project was dead I thought it now was time to update this homepage and shout to the world: "nooo xtracker32 is NOT dead" ;)
In mid-december a beta version 0.6.0.0 was released to our betateam. This version already has nearly all features of the original dos xtracker, and it is more or less stable and useable. Still I decided not to do a public beta right now. I think there are still too many things missing to make xtracker32 at least as good as other current trackers - I think everyone expects stuff like filters and track effects these days. I'm now implementing those things, and after it will be the time to let the world judge about xt32 .. and so on.
As another proof of this not beeing vaporware, I'll update xt32play and put some new screenshots and stuff onto the website. Maybe also some demosongs done by our betatesters ... we'll see.

18.01.2002 - Release date moved to ms2k+2

As stated on the homepage we in vacuum decided not to join The Party. Blablabla. xt32 final will be released at m2k+2.

11.11.2001 - Radical Rhythms archive (tons of xtracker DMFs) online

As some of you may know the old location of the RR archives site was pretty dead for quite some time now. Cosmic/RR now has uploaded the whole archive to one of our servers in the untergrund.net/rockz.org-network. So: If you need some material to test xt32amp, head over to http://rr.rockz.org ;)
